Newly retired, I am endeavoring to answer Mary Oliver's question posed in "The Summer Day": "...what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?". Juxtaposing my new freedom with the power of limits will be an interesting dance as I begin a new life chapter.

Waiting for the Fog to Clear
The fog has descended quickly, enveloping us in a misty shroud.
Sounds are muffled, our vision veiled.
Familiar landmarks have disappeared.
We've lost our bearings.
But we persist. We keep moving forward.
