STATEMENT
Come explore the works of Melanie Walker in her "Househead Chronicles" exhibition. "Using the image of a house and the conceptual framework of home as metaphor," Walker create images that connect viewer's to the "notions of memory, family, dreams and fiction." Within this body of work Walker creates a "theater where the ridiculous, the poignant and the unexpected can be acted out through imaginary and whimsical pictorial associations that portray life on the lyrical and playful edge of sense and non-sense." In Walkers striking installation she uses flight, light, three dimensional sculptures and more to push her photographs into something completely extraordinary.
