STATEMENT
Center Forward is an annual open themed exhibition. ‘The photography world is changing at a rapid pace as historical processes meld with contemporary digital work. Common themes throughout artwork such as the human condition, relation to the land, identity, sexuality, secrets, still life, and abstraction are all represented in Center Forward.
Specific to photography are works that hint at artistic process and the history and evolution of the medium. These uncommon works evoke history while claiming new territory. As a whole, the works in this exhibition culminate in an experience of history, life, love, loss, and ultimately, magic.’
