2004 International Fine Art Photography Exhibition

The Center for Fine Art Photography received approximately 1,800 works of fine art photography by 590 photographers from 17 countries. The range of subjects and the quality of work was exceptional. Mary Virginia Swanson, the juror, stated that the entries will provide for a very strong exhibition. Of the entries submitted, 122 were chosen to be in the exhibition.
The exceptional quality of work presented to the Juror made it extremely difficult to select those to be included in the exhibition. The selection was made based on the quality of work, a desire to provide a broad representation of photographic art and the space available to display the work.

The Exhibition opens June 29, 2004. The Opening Reception is Friday, July 2, 6-9 pm. The Artists Reception is Friday, July 16, 6-9 PM. At the Artists Reception the awards will be presented by Ms. Swanson. The Exhibition closes on August 21, 2004.
The Exhibition can be viewed in the Main and Mezzanine Galleries of the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art. The Museum is located at 201 South College Avenue, in downtown Fort Collins. The MOCA is open Monday - Friday from 10am to 6:00pm, Saturday noon to 5:00pm. The MOCA can be contacted by calling 970-482-2787.
