April 20th, 2009
Congratulations
to the 39 artists from 4 countries whose
photographs were selected
for the
2009
Works of Man Exhibition
The Center for Fine
Art Photography is
pleased to announce
the juror's selections
for the
2009 Works of Man Exhibition.
The images were selected
by juror, Chris Jordan. Chris Jordan is best known for his large scale works depicting consumerism in the United States. Jordan’s 2005 book In Katrina's Wake: Portraits of Loss from an Unnatural Disaster is a powerful display of his artistry. In October 2007 Chris appeared on the Steven Colbert Report to discuss his body of work, Running the Numbers. Most recently Chris was chosen by National Geographic Channels International to serve as their Eco-ambassador for Earth Day, 2008.
Thank you for participating
in this call for entries.
You will be able to
view the images in
the Center's
online gallery and
physical gallery beginning
June 26th,
2009.
The Center has developed new forms to make it easier for you to submit your Framing and Information Forms to the Center. To learn more about The Center's new interactive Adobe pdf forms, click here.
